9.0.24237.1028877 crashes on update

I am running 9.0.24229.991745, and get the prompt that an update is available. I try to run the update and it crashes out without updating, every time. I have to skip the update to use Parallels.

I used to have the blank screen problem and I used the workaround posted here. I wonder if that could be causing the problem?

Please uninstall Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac : http://kb.parallels.com/116992

Note: Your Virtual machines will not be affected by this procedure - only Parallels Desktop application will be uninstalled.

Download Parallels Desktop 9 from :

http://download.parallels.com//desktop/v9/update2.hotfix2/ParallelsDesktop-9.0.24237.1028877.dmg

This will download the latest build of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac ( 9.0.24237 )

Install Parallels Desktop 9 again on your Mac from the downloaded package and then check how it works!

Hi thanks for the response. Edit: This did end up working. I think I may have had the wrong installer on the first manual download of the update.
