Hi all! Sorry if there already been this question =) When I configured performance setting and chose text editor mode I started my VM machine and it takes longer to lunch the OS that usual. What I've seen take my breathe out, there were only files from Mac OS Desktop aka mirrors files but not mine where is my dissertation ( I was blamed myself for not doing backups =0). Nevertheless, I found them in general directory of windows Desktop folder. Here is the point of my question, how can I have only guest OS desktop files on my desktop in VM and do not see from Mac OS? for me its enough to walk through the network folders when I need it BTW Im using full screen mode for VM Regards, Nick
Shame on me, I just needed to change in the properties of Desktop location of my desktop =) but may be for somebody it would be useful Cheers,
Hi All, Parallels Desktop allows you to share folders between the Mac OS X and Windows file systems, so you can easily open Mac OS X files from Windows applications and Windows files from Mac OS X applications. Please follow the steps suggested at http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v9/ga/docs/en_US/Parallels Desktop User's Guide/32922.htm to enable or disable sharing feature.
