I have PD10 (but the same was the case with 10.6.8 and 9) with two VMs - XPSP3 and Vista (I know...). Anyway, I can connect to the internet thru Parallels just fine, but cannot thru XP!

When I look at "Network Connections" in the Control Panel, it lists
    Name: "Local Area Connection"
    Type: "LAN or High-Speed Internet"
    Status: "Network cable unplugged"
    Device Name: "Parallels Ethernet Adapter"
Phone # or Host Address: (null/blank)
    Owner: "System"

What's odd is that I'm using a wireless router. And, as I say, in Vista I have no problems connecting thru Parallels...

When I do an XP Network Diagnostics scan, there are NO Network Adapters listed!

(Just for smiles, I have another Mac running Parallels 7, with XPSP3 as well, and it connects fine, and can find the Network Adapter just fine.)

    HELP???

Btw, the most promising is the step from KB with network stack reset:

    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset reset.log
