Can you use .pvm file from Mac#1 on Mac#2?

Probably a silly question but ... I have a iMac which is now running Window10 nicely.
I have a MacBook Pro that isn't :-( (long story and working with Support on that elsewhere)

QUESTION.... Can I copy the .pvm from the working iMac to the MacBook Pro and run it there?. Setups pretty much identical.

Yes, you can transfer .pvm from your old iMac into MacBook Pro. Please refer http://kb.parallels.com/114118
 
Yup...you sure can :-) !!!. Worked nicely. Takes a bit of time to move 50 gigs of .pvm but like I said.... works nicely.
