Drive C does not work

    I recently upgraded Parallels to version 11 and from Windows 8.1 to windows 10.
    I opened windows last night and left it running alongside the Mac operating system
    Mac opened correctly but Windows came up with the advice Drive C had stopped working and gave an option to Retry or cancel. I initially tried retry but to no avail and reluctantly cancelled it closed Windows 10 and Parallels prior to reopening.
    On reopening I was advised that Windows was updating. An hour later with the update still not completed I was advised that Drive C was not working and despite several retries nothing happened except the machine froze and I was unable to do anything with it.
    I powered down and after a wait powered up again into Mac and then opened parrallels followed by Windows 10. Initially I was again advised windows was updating and then it requested a login and password which I have never used and the screen froze. Restarting again
    I checked the KB and started to follow the instructions to resolve the log in problem as a first step in trying to resolve the whole issue using the terminal to the following point
    prlctl exec fc85e5a2-35dc-4b02-bb17-0fd759c80514 net user
    and was then advised
    The command is available only in Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro or Business Edition.
    Could I please get some advice on how to proceed

    Subsequent to the above
    I restarted yet again and got to the sign in page and signed in using the computer password. Windows 10 then said Password incorrect and froze
    Subsequent attempts resulted at the opening going straight to the password incorrect page and freezing
    ( I have tried to email support but cannot obtain a reference number from the system and therefore cannot submit a problem report
    Trying to use the other methods of communication on the support page have also failed)

    I am still unable to get confirmation that a support request has been lodged although I did get a support number
