    Hi everybody!.

I´m trying to run parallels on my mac. I´m a pc user so I´m trying to switch between windows and mac.

I´m working in running some geo spatial models on my pc (dinamica ego (it´s a platform for environmental modeling)) and when I ran a model, the most complex one, takes aprox 10 hours to processing my results.

    My question:
If I switch between OS and Microsoft, Will it affect the performance of my models?. Can you leave one operative system and back again without interrupting some task?

    thanks.

Hi, yes you may switch between the Mac OS and Windows VM, for example you can use your Windows VM in the window mode and just minimize it when you need your Mac.
Also you VM will utilize some CPU from you Mac, the CPU usage actually depends on you Mac configuration.
