I'm running Windows 7 and tried to play some precision platforming games, e.g. http://www.delicious-fruit.com/ratings/game_details.php?id=12373
These games require precise inputs and reaction time on key press >10-20ms can make a difference. The default "jump" key for many of these games is Shift. Even with "Optimize for games" enabled, there is still delay 50-100ms. Without "Optimize for games" it's even worse, aka 300-400ms. When I re-bind the "jump" key in the example game to "z", it works with no delay. However, not all of similar games allow key re-binding, forcing to use Shift for jumps. Can you make reaction time on Shift key as fast as on other key like "z", please? While playing those games, I can even be ok with non-smooth work of combinations Shift+key.
