    Hey guys,

I was trying to run an installer for a program for the windows partition, but I keep getting the following error:

Erro 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your personnel or package vendor. Custom action exitsetup...

The installer works fine on another computer. Does anyone have a resolution? Thanks for the help!

    1. Does the latest windows installer version not apply to windows 10? I tried running it and it said something about no elevation.
    2. Tried setting the windows installer to manual - did not work
    3. Downloaded the windows installer clean up utility - which program should i be removing?

On another note, I approached Microsoft with the issues and they mentioned this.
"The issue could have happened due to some third party software conflicts. I would request you to place the computer in clean boot and check if it helps.
Perform a Clean boot and try to update.
Perform a clean boot to check if any third party application is causing the issue, as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.
How to troubleshoot problem by performing clean boot in Windows:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

Note:Refer "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting."

The only two non-microsoft services that were running was parallels coherence and parallels too. I tried disabling them and performing a clean boot but the installer still gave me that error. Any advice?
