Since Upgrading to 10.4.0 CPU utilization at 150%

Since upgrading to 10.4.0, my processor has gone from about 25% to 150%. Is there a way to go back 1 version?

Hi BillH2, Try mapping your existing Virtual Machine to an empty Virtual Machine by following this article to resolve the issue.
 
Good Morning- Sorry for delay.

Windows CPU utilization is very low. I went into time machine, pulled back the previous version and processor utilization is back down to ~10-15%. So, as a test, I went back to the update and the processor spiked back up. Just in case, I left it running (in case it needed to index) for about 3 hours. Never settled down. So, I went back to the previous and its fine.

On my machine, there is something wrong with this version.

My setup: MBA 2012, 256SSD, 8GB ram, 10.11.3, Windows is very bare minimum and very clear w/3GB ram devoted. Nothing fancy.

Reinstall Parallels power plan:
Uninstall Parallels Tools:
Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features (Add or Remove programs in Windows XP).
Locate Parallels Tools and click Uninstall.
Reboot virtual machine.
Delete Parallels power plan:
Open Power Options by clicking Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options.
Make a different plan the active plan, e.g. Power saver.
Under Parallels plan, click Change plan settings.
On the Change settings for the plan: Parallels page, click Delete this plan.
When prompted, click OK.
Restart virtual machine and install Parallels Tools and then check how it works.
