Migration Steps for Parallels 8 to Parallels 11

    I am currently running Parallels Desktop 8 and understand that I need to purchase the full version of Parallels 11. Can you please provide me with the steps to migrate my current install of Windows 7 over to my new install of Parallels 11?

    Hello Joe8, we would recommend you to buy a full version of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac from Parallels online store. Please check out the video link here. After upgrading to Parallels Desktop 11, you do not need to reinstall Windows or create a new virtual machine. You can use your existing virtual machine.

    @PaulChris@Parallels Thank you for your reply. From the video you linked above I saw the "Add Existing Virtual Machine" button toward the end of the video so I can go from there.
