Hi guys, When I uninstall Parallels for Mac, does this also automatically uninstall also all the programs installed on the Windows side (such as Office, etc.)?
Hello @NathanL3, Parallels Desktop is an application in a Mac uninstalling will not affect the virtual machine. The virtual machine will be stored on your Mac as .pvm file. To locate .pvm file, please refer for more information.
Thanks Raj - but I have no idea what a virtual machine is and what a pvm file is. What I need is a layman's instructions on how to uninstall Parallels - as well as the programs and work files that are there so I can free all the disk space that's currently associated with parallels. Thanks. Nathan

I asked to keep files - and then was directed to a screens I do not understand. I then wanted to change my decision and move them to trash - but There's no option to go back! What can I do?
Hi NathanL3, Once you select move to trash, your virtual machine will be deleted. If you want to free this space you have to remove the Windows.pvm file from trash. Then you can remove the Parallels Desktop by following the article.
