Parallels Wizard/Windows 10

Hello to Everyone,

I'm trying, about half an hour, to install Windows 10.
With the help of Parallels 11.
Installation of Parallels 11 went without any problem.
I could begin the installation of Windows 10.
I could even insert the key-code for Windows 10.
But after some 15 minutes I have the impression that the installation "hangs".
I inserted some screenshots because the terminology of Mac and of Windows is difficult for me.

Can someone please help me with this (and others with the same problem)?

I'm having the same problem. I'm running El Capitan on a late 2015 iMac i5 with plenty of RAM and HD space. It just hangs at Shell>_

Please try to disable EFI Boot in the virtual machine configuration and let us know how it works.

Something strange happened.
Tried different things with no result and with a lof of frustration.
It's not Parallels.
It's not Windows.
It's a gnome...
What killed the gnome?
Follow the instructions from Parallels to make an imagefile from your usb-stick.
At the end of the coupling Parallels-Imagefile (don't know if I explain this well, I have another native language) and when the installation of Windows begin, that's the moment the gnome appears...
At that moment you have to make a decision to install an upgrade (first choice, above on the screen, which I tried about 5 times!!! But that's what men told me) or (I don't remember the name) the second choice under on the screen:
DO NOT MAKE THE CHOICE ON THE SCREEN ABOVE
TAKE THE SECOND CHOICE AND WINDOWS STARTS INSTALLING and let you make some choises in preferences. This is what I'm now doing. But first, this reply to TonyC4.

I'm having a similar issue when I attempt to install Windows 10 from an .iso image file. The installation proceeds through all the checks, then hangs when it seems like Windows is trying to start up. I get the following message "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation." I've restarted several times. EFI Boot is disabled.

Hi BrianG6, if you see "Windows Could Not Complete The Installation Windows" the problemWindows-Could-Not-Complete-The-Installation-Windows-10-SysPrep is likely that your Password Policy is set to something beyond what the account you used to SysPrep used. The fix for this is actually quite simple:

On the "Windows Could Not Complete The Installation Windows" press SHIFT+F10, to bring up a Command window
Type SECPOL.MSC and press ENTER, to bring up the Local Security Policy editor
Expand ACCOUNT POLICIES > PASSWORD POLICY
Set MINIMUM PASSWORD LENGTH to 0
Set PASSWORD MUST MEET COMPLEXITY REQUIREMENTS to DISABLED
Press ALT TAB to change the focus to the INSTALL WINDOWS error dialog box and press the ENTER key on the OK button
After the machine reboots, you should be fine.

Really need help with this issue. I have spent hours troubleshooting and have tried all suggestions above. Nothing has changed. I'm still getting the error message above. I need this machine configured by tomorrow morning so that a contractor can work on a Windows-only program. Please help!!

Hello BrianG6,
I still feel like it's a trouble with the iso file that you are using to install windows.
Please remove all your old image files and download a fresh iso file by clicking on the link.
Once the iso file is downloaded start the installation by following the article.
Note: Try to uncheck the "Express installation" on step 4 and process the installation.
Make sure the RAM memory is set to more than 2GB during the installation because Windows installation requires a minimum of 2GB RAM.
Note: Select Customize setting before installation to make sure that the RAM is set to more than 2GB.
