I m using a Mac book pro with El Capitan. I have parallels installed and am running windows 10. I have Microsoft Access installed. All of a sudden I can't open access. The error message suggest I go to the programs and features area and run the fix of the app. But when I choose "change" the message I get is that it has to close the app Microsoft Access in order to fix it. But then It goes back and says it can't close it. Of course it isn't open in the first place. I have rebooted several times to fix this but to no avail.

Please isolate Windows from Mac. Try to repair Microsoft Access & restart the Windows.
NOTE: Please take a snapshot of your virtual machine (in Parallels Desktop menu bar go to Actions > Take snapshot) before you proceed with the instructions to be able to revert all the changes.
