Midi Drivers for windows xp

Hi all,
i have and old drivers for an old midi device and an application that capture the midi drive data and resend it thro a virtual midi port, all are running on windows xp like a dream no problems, the question if i like to use the application on parallels can i install the drivers and the application on the xp and then use the virtual midi port on mac with other applications or not.

 

Hi, you can install Windows XP VM and your app and drivers on it.

So for anyone interested in the idea it is very simple, your midi drivers will work one guest os (Windows xp with its own drivers) because any USB drive is dedicated to an os you can't share them, now the problem is to send midi back and forth between Mac and Window right ? not problem at all just use rtpMIDI it is easy and fun
