How can I stop Parallels from generating these MASSIVE (50+GB) log files in Library/Log?
Every time it creates one it takes my SSD to capacity and brings my system to a crawl.

Please disable detailed logging, please go to Parallels Desktop menu -> Preferences.
Switch to Advanced tab -> uncheck 'Use detailed log messages'

The problem is, as soon as the issue arrives, the VM locks up, requiring me to Force Close it.

Please reply the version of Parallels Desktop, Mac OS X and guest OS installed.

Why is it that in every one of this threads about huge parallels.log files, your support staff always suggests unchecking 'Use detailed log messages`, and then every single time - users respond that they don't have that f'ing check box checked.

I'm repeatedly having to delete my parallels.log file and apparently nothing can stop it from growing indefinitely until my disk is full.

This is a problem that has been around for years and years and you guys don't seem to give two shits.

Hello BilboB1, please follow the below steps and keep us posted:
1. Backup your Virtual Machine
2. Delete the snapshots
3. Compressed the hard disk.
4. Deleted all the log files from ( Macintosh HD -> Library -> Log )

This doesn't address the problem at all. The problem is you should never be generating a 150 GB log file that completely fills a disk - ever. How is this still happening to users after years and years of complaints about excessively large log files? None of the solutions provided here address the root problem. This is ridiculous.
