MacBook crashes on starting Parallels Desktop 11

MacBook Sierra 10.12.4 crashes on starting Parallels Desktop 11.
This happens when the app is started, i.e. before the VMS are displayed. It also happens when sending the Problem Report via Terminal.
Have uninstalled / reinstalled Parallel Desktop 11 ; problem still occurs.

Same issue here on my MBP since the last update...

Hi @Blahman, switching between integrated and discrete video cards will resolve the issue.
To switch between the adapters, go to virtual machine configuration window -> Options -> Optimization - Power
* For integrated graphics (CPU) set 'Longer battery life'
* For discrete video card set 'Better performance'
You can also choose "No limit" for Resource usage.

No, I tried what PaulChris suggested above.

I have just tried what you posted, but here is the output:

"cp /Library/Preferences/Parallels/network.desktop.xml

usage: cp [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-fi | -n] [-apvX] source_file target_file

cp [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-fi | -n] [-apvX] source_file ... target_directory"

When I then enter the second step ("open /Applications/TextEdit.app ./network.desktop.xml")
I get this:
"The file /Users/MYNAME/network.desktop.xml does not exist."

Is it just that the command can't find the correct pathway to the file? What should I enter instead?

there should be no "
and line should finish with dot (.)
"cp /Library/Preferences/Parallels/network.desktop.xml ." (without quotest)
so in command line it should look like
cp /Library/Preferences/Parallels/network.desktop.xml .

Thanks, but that wasn't the issue.
I went through it with your support staff and it turned out my network.xml was at a different location.
Even after working that out, it still didn't fix it, so they've taken all the kernel panic reports and technical reports away to see if there's some other issue going on.

Hi @Blahman, please, send us standalone problem report and post its id here. For this you need to execute this command in terminal:
/Applications/Parallels\ Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/prlsrvctl problem-report --send --stand-alone
- the command execution will take some time. Id will be printed in the output. Please provide that ID so that we will check and provide you the steps to resolve the issue.
