I followed the instructions in this help article. It errors indicating that 'The command is available only in Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro or Business Edition.'
I'm using Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro.
Suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi @ScotH , the article you provided is applicable for Parallels Desktop for Mac standard edition also. Please help us with the screenshots of the error message, so that we can check and help you out.

Hi Arun - thanks so much for your reply.
I've attached screen shots of:
  1. The error message I get requesting a password when I attempt to start my virtual machine
  2. The terminal response for Step 3 in the Help Article noted above
  3. The terminal response for Step 5 in the Help Article
You noted that the help article does not apply to Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition. That's not what the Help Article indicates. It notes that it applies to Pary allels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition. In any case, my objective here is to reset my password - as I have forgotten it. Please direct me to the correct Help Article that explains how to accomplish that task.
Thanks again!
-Scot

We see that you have both Parallels Desktop Standard and Pro under your account but the standard version is activated on this Mac. The article provided is to reset your Windows user password but the screenshot explains the entire virtual machine is encrypted with a password which is different. We don't have an option to reset it.
