Can't access Parallels to load Win10

screen.jpg Yesterday I got a warning that my MBA harddrive was nearly full. So I deleted a bunch of stuff that I thought was garbage.
Today I tried to go into Win10 via Parallels (latest software on Win10 and Parallels. Instead of booting it said I had a missing file which I think is "Windows 10.pvm". I'm trying to copy it from the cloud, but I don't see anything happening. The popup icon say the file is 43.31 GB. "Gas gauge" isn't moving.
Wondering if I went to Boot Camp if that would get my Windows back up?
The window that pops up when I try to load Parallels says
1. Get Windows 10 from Microsoft
2. Install Windows ...from a DVD or image file
3 Transfer Windows from a PC
Anyone got an idea as to how I can get my Parallels back?

Thanks, I'm going to give that a try when I work my courage up. I really have no reason to run Windows and MacOS at the same time. I'm already running a Bootcamp operation on my iMac. What I'm mildly worried about is losing my Windows 10 which I picked up when it was free and don't want to have to buy it if I were to lose the installation on my MBA with the Parallels installation.

Hi @StarShot, alright. please give it a try and you can also refer to this article. Modern.IE Test Environments are 90-day pre-configured test Windows virtual machines specially created for software developers and testers.

What does "Modern IE" mean in your reply? I still haven't pulled the trigger by trying to recover my Windows 10 installation by installing Bootcamp because I'm WORRIED about losing emails in my MacOS side of my MBA. Yes, I can read them by going into iCloud. Do you know if they would stay in iCloud if they got wiped on my MBA?

Modern IE is a preconfigured virtual machine provided by Microsoft. If you like to make sure if all the emails saved on the iCloud drive will be safe if your MBA is wiped, please contact Apple support.
 
I'm back in business! I slid over to iCloud where I found windows 10.pvm backed up. About a week ago I found the same file, but I couldn't seem to "port" it over to my MBA. This time I was successful. Must be a big file because it took a long time to download. Once it did, Win10 popped right up when I clicked on Parallels.
When in a former life (flying), I was told one of the best things to remember is to "sit" on my hands and evaluate the problem before making it worse unless I'm upside down is a death spiral. That's what I ended up doing here and in the end, I came up on the good side of bad.
