Parallels Logo Loads for a while, and then the application quits.

Hi all,
Recently, parallels has stopped working for me. When I try to open it, it just shows the loading icon for a while, and then the application quits. I'm not sure what I should do, and I don't know what happened for it to act this way.

Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately, it still doesn't solve the problem, though those are the exact symptoms.

Hi @Melek, please perform First Aid on your Mac and then please try creating a test account on your Mac and check if that is working.

Still no results... Is it possibly that, since I recently updated my mac, that that may be the issue? I know it sometimes is with other applications.

Hi @Melek, please let us know what version of Mac OS X and Parallels Desktop do you have?

I am on Mac os 10.12.5 and Parallels 12.1.1 I haven't bothered updating it since it work fine as it was.
