Everytime I open Parallels Desktop I get the above error pop-up. It doesn't stop me from continuing, but does anyone know what this means? Haven't seen a floppy disk since the last century.

Hi @MichaelO9, this error might be occurred because of an incorrect path to second virtual machine hard disk in virtual machine configuration. Are you trying to connect a secondary hard disk to your Windows 7 virtual machine?
Please share a screenshot of the Windows file explorer page and Hardware tab, under Configure (which shows 'Source' drop-down ) for Floppy Disk. We will check it for you.

I recently added an iMac with Windows 10 and I already was using a MacBook with Windows XP. Somehow, don't ask me how, both Windows versions ended up on the iMac. Now, the XP version opens, but is frozen. The Windows 10 goes through the motions of opening, but it never really does. Screenshot attached. Screen Shot Two Windows options.png

Hi @MichaelO9 , on your Windows XP virtual machine , please follow steps suggested here and check if that works. Please take right click on the Windows 10.1 and select show in finder and let us know the size of the virtual machine.

The reset got the XP going but as soon as I quit or suspend it needs to be reset every time.
I don't think I understand the "show in finder" instructions. I can't duplicate what you wrote. But the Windows 10 isn't working at all. The Mac screen stays on and the Windows screen doesn't show up or give me a "Start" menu in the bottom left corner. I think I need to get the Windows XP off the iMac and back onto the MacBook because of their ages. I have six years of my business accounting on the Windows XP, but the Sierra operating system doesn't support it and I think it's messing up my Windows 10 in the process.

Is there any way to separate the Windows 10 and the Windows XP on my iMac? They are "stuck together" in a window that comes up whenever I open Parallels Desktop.

Hi @MichaelO9 , Once you start Windows 10, please try clicking the Parallels icon || in the menu bar > View> then choose Exit Coherence and check if that works. The control center is a default setting in Parallels Which displays the list of virtual machines installed on your Mac and as of now we do not have an option to disable it.

These instructions all succeeded. Exit coherence got Windows 10 back. The Reset for Windows XP also got the XP working but I can only Pause the program when not using it. Suspend or Stop causes it to freeze when I try to re-open it, but I can live with Pausing. Only one more issue, which is the Floppy Disk 0 error message that comes up every time I open Windows XP. All I have to do is click OK and it goes away. Here is a screenshot that you asked for when I first brought up this issue above.
