Hi, I've installed Onedrive in Mac, but when I try to open a link from the browser, instead to use Onedrive in Mac, the link attempting to open on Onedrive in my parallels Windows Machine. Is there any way to disable this? I already turned off Onedrive in the sharing options on Parallels. When I click the link "Sync", instead to Open Onedrive in Mac, it goes straight to Windows It doesn't matter which browser I use on Mac, always point to a windows machine.
Do we have an answer for this???? This just started happening to me after two years of using parallels and this is seriously messing up my workflow. I cannot do my job right now.
Hi, You isolate the vm. It is going to shut all links with Mac. It will reset all. Then try again in Mac the sync lunch and will open onedrive in Mac. Then you tick off the isolation. And your vm will be back in your Mac environment.

I'm running on 13 too. You find the option under configure / Security from the VM menu and their you will find the magic tick box 'Isolate Windows from Mac'
Yes, this worked for me, complete workflow: 1) Configure > Security > enable "Isolate Windows from Mac" 2) Shutdown VM 3) Shutdown OneDrive on Mac and close browser 4) Launch OneDrive on Mac 5) Open browser to Sharepoint Site/One Drive directory, choose 'sync' 6) Voila--launches in Mac OneDrive 7) Uncheck "Isolate Windows from Mac"
This did NOT work for me. Even removing Parallels from my computer MacOS tries to open OneDrive on Windows: "OneDrive requires Parallels Desktop to operate. Please install Parallels Desktop and try again." What setting does Parallels set that I need to change so I can use OneDrive on my Mac?
RoxD, same issue here. Hoping for a response. I am also in contact with MS. If they provide a solution, I'll post it here
RoxD, I downloaded App Cleaner from Nektony.com It rooted out all the leftover files and folders from Parallels Desktop and deleted them. After that Onedrive worked perfectly.
