    Dota 2 has issues with black squares when casting any spell, for example: when i use blademail my character becomes a black square.

    Here's my config:
    iMac 5K 2017 / 24GB RAM / RADEON 580 8GB

    VM Config:
    Windows 10 Gaming profile / 8 GB RAM / 2 GB Vram / Vsyn ON / DirectX 10

    Hi @AlexanderK9, to fix this issue please shutdown your VM > open configuration window > Hardware > Boot Order > Boot flags > copy and paste the following boot flag:
    video.fast_srgb=1

    Then close the configuration window and start the VM. This should eliminate graphics artifacts in Dota 2.

    The flag controls sRGB emulation for DirectX. '2' is the default (and fastest) setting, but in this particular case it doesn't play well with game shaders and data. '1' is more conservative, while a tad slower.

    So it's not just Dota 2 suffers from this "black squares" issue?
