migrating apps from home hd to parallels virtual machine migration assistant

I created a virtual machine in Parallels containing Mac OS 10.13. It seems to work fine. I want to use Migration Assistant to move over my applications to this virtual disk. Migration Assistant on Parallels virtual Assistant does not see any of my Hds on my Mac running 10.11.6. So how can I migrate the applications?
Is there any way to get the virtual machine to see my other HDs?

Hi nealt. Please refer this article and set the Network Source to 'Default Adapter'. Then follow the steps to migrate the contents to the macOS virtual machine.
 
Unfortunately when you open Migration Assistant (MA) on the mac it closes Parallels including the virtual machine. MA cannot find the virtual machine.
