PD13 to PD14 Free Upgrade Period?

I am on version PD 12. I want to upgrade to Mojave so I want to end up on PD 14. If I buy PD13 now will I am be able to get a free upgrade to PD14?

 

Hi @DarrellM1 , Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac is supported to work with mac OS Mojave. And we do not have any official information about the free upgrade for Parallels Desktop 14 for Mac.

I guess you missed my point about not wanting to buy PD13, then turn around and have to pay for PD14. If I upgrade, I want to end up with PD14 which is built to go with Mojave. I was toying with trying out the Mojave beta, but oddly enough, its the Parallels cost that will prevent that.

It's ok. I think I will just stay with Sierra and PD12. I don't see any new must have features in Mojave and I see the Parallels "give me $49 every year" mentality is alive and well. I'll revisit things in the fall of 2019.

If a new version is released within 30 days of your Parallels Desktop 13 purchase, you can contact us and check about a free upgrade or get a refund and purchase a new version. Free upgrade request or refund request should be made within 30 days from the date of purchase.

 

That doesn't help me, but I think its a good policy to have. I'll check back in the Fall of 2019.
