Hi, I recently upgraded to Parallels 14.1.0 and I have noticed a significant battery drain ever since. Has anyone experienced something similar and any suggestion on how I can resolve the issue? My configuration is as follows: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) macOS Mojave 10.14.2 (18C54) evo850 SSD 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5 16GB RAM (8GB for macOS and 8GB for Parallels). Regards, Dave.
Hi KebhaK, I followed the instructions as described in the article without success. Is there anything else I can try. The power drain is so bad that my laptop barely 10 minutes on battery!
Hi, and how many apps are you running in Parallels Desktop VM? Or you just start the Parallels Desktop and got the issue with battery? Also how many apps are you running on the Mac side when you start the Parallels Desktop? Just one Parallels or may be something else?
I am experiencing the same issue. I went through the above recommendations. I am only running 2 Cpu's and limited memory. Just turning on parallels cooks my computer. It makes my computer totally unusable unless plugged in. I really need a solid resolution for this...
