I am dual booting my MacBook pro to Windows 10 using an external disk, not via bootcamp. I'd like to be able to run that image as a .pvm with parallels. Is there a procedure somewhere that can help me import that external disk Windows 10 system into a Virtual Machine? thanks in advance....

  2. Hi, how are you using your Windows on Mac? Is it just an installation file? Or you have a Windows VM on your external drive?
Please provide us wtih more details.

I boot from a bootable windows drive (created with winclone from two canoes software). it's not a VM, I'm hoping to 'capture' it into one so I don't have to boot back and forth to run Windows, but all the directions I can locate talk about creating the pvm from a physical machine, not a bootable image on an external drive.
