Migrating windows 8.1 from virtual pc toi another virtual machine

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I thought I would start here. I have a new Mac am trying to move my Windows 8. from ab older Mac. I have Parallels installed on both, but every time I try to move it using the transporter it fails. Any advice?
