How long is Paralles supposed to take for startup?

How long is the Parallels App supposed to take to finish startup (splash screen):



It hangs for two minutes there already and I'd guess when I have finished typing in this post it will still hang there.
It also slows down my macOS (Catalina 10.15.1) during that phase.

Coming back now to the computer it still is hanging there. What can I do?

 

Hi, which version of Parallels Desktop are you using?
Also when does the issue appear? Maybe after update?

It worked in the first place after the recent update but now it is in some state that it is absolutely unusable.

 

I got around the hanging startup by reinstalling Parallels 15.1.1
