If I purchase now, do I get upgrade in August?

If I were to purchase a stand alone license of v15 today and v16 is released in August, would I be eligible for the upgrade in August?
 
Hello, @bloome We do not have any official information about the Parallels Desktop V16 release and its Tech Guarantee policy, so it is not possible to promise you on a free upgrade to the V16 as of now.
 
I have the same question.
I have Parallels v11 and want to purchase v15 however with probability of v16 around the corner, this is forcing me to wait.
You may say that you don't have any official info so we can buy any way but it's obvious.

I can buy right away now v15 with the garanty of upgrade to v16 OR I will wait to v16 and most probably I will forgot until there and not buy at all.

Hello, in your case you can purchase Upgrade for Parallels Desktop for Mac subscription. It will cost you the same as permanent license, but all update and upgrade will be for free for you during the subscription period (1 year)
 
I understand that you promote the subscription model.
However, after 1 year if I don't renew the subscription, the current version will be automatically inactivated, correct or I will keep that last version ?

If after one year I'm forced to renew, than I prefer to keep my current model (even with an outdated software).
I want the new version just for the DirectX 11 support.

You're right after 1 year your subscription will expired (no matter which version you have is 15 or the newest). If you would like to use permanent license key you can upgrade or wait till the newest version will be released.
Unfortunately we cannot share any information about the release date.
