Desktop short cuts

Hi

I am running parallels 15 on Catalina - the support and program itself have been fantastic!

I have a working windows 10 and now a windows xp pro virtual machine on my Mac (Accounting software that is windows based so needs much)

Now when I installed windows 10 there was a nice parallels windows 10 icon (I deleted it) now I have installed windows xp - it makes sensee for me to reinstate that icon - how do I do that please?

Hi RichardM15. Are you referring to the Windows 10 Shortcut icon that was created on Mac Desktop during the installation?

Kindly refer to this article to locate the VM file (.pvm) on the Mac Finder. Then right-click that file and select 'Make Alias'. A shortcut will be created there. Just drag and drop that shortcut to the Mac Desktop.
