    Hi,

I have spent hours trying various ways to convert and migrate a Win 10 vm over to Virtual Box, unsuccessfully.
    Parallels version: 15.1.4 (47270)
    Virtual Box version: 6.1.12 r139181 (Qt5.6.3)
    Mac OS version: Catalina 10.15.6

    I have tried the following:
    1. Using VCenter Converter Standalone to create the VMDK, which I have then imported to VB.
    2. I have used the command line to convert my HDD file to a flat one which I then moved the hds file over to virtual box and mounted as an hdd (renamed).

Am I supposed to just be using the hdd mounted on the SATA drive? When I do that it gives a boot error. Then if I mount the Windows 10 iso file, it will prompt me to install Windows from scratch. I don't think my hdd is working right. Please help!

  2. Hi, please clarify, you would like to convert Parallels Desktop VM to VirtualBox?
