How can I assign a USB device always to VM, regardless of Device number (#3, #5 etc)?

I have the issue that Parallels assigns the same USB device many different numbers (#2, #5, #15).
It depends on the adapter and the USB port of the Mac.

I have to assign every single instance (#2, #5, #15) to the VM individually. This creates a lot of work and support.

This is really a pain, since I have an external docking station and the docking station is not always attached to the same USB port (I can't guarantee that). Is there a way to assign the same USB device always to the VM, regardless of what #-Number it receives from Parallels?

For instance, can I edit a configuration file to assign a device ID to the VM to circumvent this issue? I can do that with other virtual machine software.

    Thanks for your help.

It shows me how to do this manually. I already know this.
This is exactly what I want to avoid.
I am looking for something different:
I want to attach the USB device to the virtual machine NO MATTER WHAT the device number is.
