Access single files inside a VM while the VM is not running in Parallels (Offline Access)

Generally, I am thrilled now with Parallels Version 17.1.1 (51537)!
It would be beneficial to access single files inside a VM while the VM is NOT running in Parallels. You could implement a network interface to the offline VM file to achieve this. I am sure you brilliant Parallels programmers can do this!

 

Did you try to mount virtual HDD image using Parallels Mounter.app?
Just locate your VM bundle in finder, right click, choose "Show package contents" and try to "Open with" .hdd file.

 

In this path /Users/<my user name>/Parallels/ there are only .pvm files, no .hdd files.

 

You need right-click on .pvm and choos "Show Package Contents"
