Recently I noticed my 2019 MacPro 7,1 showed "Errors detected on memory module" message in About This Mac. Other than the dreaded message, the whole system runs without any problem. No random crashes, no sudden reboot, no kernel panic, no anything. Restarting the machine would make the error message go away, it only to come back after a few hours of use.

Running MemTest86 gave me zero error.

Then I found out the error message seems to be linked to Parallels Desktop. Mine is 17.1.1 Pro version. The memory error message only showed up after I run Parallels Desktop for a while. Again, the whole system runs well without any weird behavior.

Anybody knows why is this? Thanks for any help.

Hi, is this happening on your Mac OS virtual machine or in the host Mac?
