Click the "Hide Desktop Files" option All files on the desktop now have disappeared. Click the "Hide Desktop Files" option again Expected result: files on my desktop re-appear again Actual result: the files stay hidden, which scared me a lot because i thought i had lost them all, but i did still see them through the Terminal. But this is a serious bug.
I think i have found the issue i was running into: apparently also the "Presentation Mode" was switched on, which i can't remember having switched on. Anyways, after switching it off, the desktop files became visible again. Man, this costed me several hours of my work day and a near heart attack Uninstalling the toolbox right away.
I tried to switch on/off both, presentation mode and hide desktop files. Tried to uninstall tool box and reinstalled it. But the files didn't appear on my desktop!!!! Is there any help on this issue?
Thank you for your reply and please sorry for the delay in response. Please confirm that you've tuned off the presentation mode and if it doesn't help execute the following command in Terminal: defaults read com.parallels.tools.statecontroller Looking forward to your update.
