Hello thank you for your response. I am using beatflo vidjam software (https://beatflo.net/) which is performance software for syncing live video with a dj performance. There is a section in the software for live streaming or recording to a designated hard drive which can be found in the software settings., I have tried to test the software first by recording to a hard drive but the software hits an error and doesn't record as intended, the "recorded" file can be found in the designated hard drive but there are no file properties and nothing to view. The software support people at beatflo so far think that I may be encountering "permissions" issues in either my Mac running Parallels Desktop or in Parallels Desktop itself. I have not yet tried streaming, I get the feeling I may encounter the same problem. Software support at beatflo are looking further into my issues but say that they know of no other customers that are having the same problem or that are using the software through Parallels Desktop. Any idea what my be causing my problem..? Your help is very much appreciated.
