I am trying to use Wireshark and the feedback I get as per below is that I need winpcap, although I have also opened up a case on support - number - 422902089 . I am wondering why this is a challenge on Macbook M1pro Chip . can someone assit to take a look at this ?
Hello, Thank you for contacting Parallels Support. The WinPcap project has ceased development and WinPcap and WinDump are no longer maintained and supported by newer version of operating system. (https://www.winpcap.org/install/) WinPcap Team have recommended to use Npcap instead. Let us know if you have another query Thanks
Thank you for your reply @Avinash Bundhoo , unfortunately, Npcap also does not work, as I already have that installed on my parallels partition, yet, Wireshark requested for WinpCap. Can you replicate a similar environment in your lab? Maybe try to deploy parallels in an M1 Pro chip and afterwards install Wireshark and see if this error comes up at your side.
