The shared directory in the virtual machine cannot be accessed with administrator privileges。

Can you elaborate on this?

 

hi alev,
I share a folder in the Mac to the virtual machine。 (for example, Z: from/user/xxx/aa to the virtual machine)
Applications in the virtual machine require administrator privileges to run.
However, the shared directory cannot be selected in the Open File menu for applications running with this permission.
This feature prevents me from wanting to share some applications in multiple virtual machines.
Do you have any good suggestions?

 

To put it simply, applications opened with "Run as Administrator" cannot see the shared directory.
