    Hi guys,

Well I've been holding off upgrading to Leopard until the general consensus was that Parallels was ready for prime time with the new OS.

I'm starting to get that feeling, based on posts here and around the net.

I'd like someone from the Parallels team to offer their recommendation at this point -- Parallels 5160/Win XP on Tiger 10.4.10 has been rock solid for me. Can I expect equal results with 5582/Win XP and 10.5.1?

(This would be on a 1st gen 2.16GHz Macbook Pro w/2GB RAM).

    Thanks for your advice.

I'm NOT from the Parallels team, but see my specs in the signature and I'm happy with 5582 on 10.5.1.

I have the same Macbook as you, running Tiger, 5160 and XP. Upgraded about a week ago to 10.5.1 and 5582 and had absolutely no problems whatsoever accessing and using my original VM. Can still connect my GPS, external disks and run a wireless network card in the express slot through windows to get internet access. I would recommend however that you back up your existing VM just in case.

    Hello,

build 5582 is preferable both for Tiger and for Leopard.

    Best regards,
    Alicia.
