PARALLELS 11 WILL NOT ACTIVATE

I get this when I try to run any of my VMs.

this happened after I cloned my 2011 iMac to an identical machine and tried to run my VMs. you can see from the green tick that it recognises my serial number, but asks me to check the internet connection - which is perfect. It happens even after I switch the firewall off.

I think this may stem from P11 being deprecated and it needs to be sorted out.

Hello @ParallelsU130 , Please open the terminal on your Mac and then type this code: prlsrvctl install-license -k. After -k, give a single space, and then type the licence key and press enter to activate your key. Thanks.

The licence was successfully installed, but the problem still persists so it wasn't a licence issue. I believe it's because - due to a programming oversight - Parallels only recognises /dev/disk0 (which in my case is the original HDD which has been supplemented by a very much faster SSD on which I can run everything except Parallels), and not my second internal drive which is /dev/disk1.
