Hello, yesterday I've installed this Windows update KB5037853. After installation, Windows was not able to load due to error 0xc0000001. Installation passed to 30%, then reboot happened and after the Recovery. I was able to recover hdd file from TimeMachine and load the Windows. Any time, I tried to install this update, the same process. Now using snapshots to recover.
I have the same issue. Unable to update the new version Windows 23H2 for arm64-based system. Please help
hello, I experience exactly the same issue with 2024-05 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for arm64-based Systems (KB5037853). And I was not able to recover up to now,
Just wanted to add that I am also experiencing the same errors when installing "2024-05 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for arm64-based Systems (KB5037853)"
This is a common problem with this update and there are a number of people who have posted the same problem. You might file a report with MS using Feedback Hub. It might make them fix the problem.

there are multiple threads about this issue already. you can help if all of you send a technical report to Parallels support
Update: today, I run Windows update after I paused it. Update 2024-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for arm64-based Systems (KB5039212) was installed and there is no issue anymore. Update KB5037853 was skipped/ not offered.
Updates are not always in numerical order (in KBxxxxxx, I can't recall a time when they were numerically ordered). Just install the latest and you'll be fine.
The point was not the KB* number, I just wanted to inform that the faulty update was not offered anymore and other KB was installed and there was no issue. Today, another update was installed with no issue either.
MS just deletes prior updates and replaces them with newer ones. Sometimes the newer ones actually install correctly and work.
