Windows XP OEM or Full version no OEM

That's funny -- I posed this exact same question a week or so ago, and got a response saying the OEM (for system builders) should work just fine, so that is what I ended up buying.
In retrospect, I would recommend going with full retail, even though it means paying twice as much ($200 vs. $100). Although I successfully installed the OEM on Boot Camp and then Parallels, I did get a message from Microsoft saying there was a problem with activation and I needed to call them. So I called them and explained I installed XP on a Macbook with Parallels, and they gave me the code I needed to reactive. However, now I'm worried that this was a one-time freebie, so next time this happens (e.g. if I decided to upgrade my hard drive or perform a fresh install of Leopard), I won't be so lucky. I would fork over the cash for peace of mind.

Nope, not a one-time freebie. I call 'em up pretty much anytime I do a re-install.
Hint, don't tell them about Parallels, just tell them that you are 'installing Windows, and yes this is the only computer it is on' or that you are reinstalling it. Only tell them about Parallels if specifically asked as they do not always know what to do about it.
