CPU might be a concern, but memory should not. I'm running parallels beautifully today on an 11" MacBook air with 8gb... No issues.

I'd like the same. The nearest I've been able to achieve is to create another desktop manually, drag Parallels to it (in Mission Control), then expand the Parallels window to maximum size and go to View > Hide Status Bar. This shows the menubar at top, and the only wasted space is the window...

I had similar issues until I reinstalled the apps on the Mac/Windows machines. I suspect those on the beta were somehow connected to a non-production environment (thus the hosts were signed into a beta environment whilst the iPad was signed into production).
