Yesterday I was attempting to mount (via Parallels Explorer) a Parallels disk that existed on an external USB drive. My entire system hung up and forced me to reboot. Upon reboot, my colors were messed up - it appears that it messed with transparency or the mix of colors.... things were...

I seem to consistently get parallels to crash by entering fullscreen view mode...... Original MacbookPro - 2.16Ghz, 2 Gig memory..... virtual machine is set at 16Mb for video. I added a custom screen res of 1440x900 thinking it might have someting to do with it... but get the same thing...

Does anyone know of a way to get my MacBook Pro's Line In directed into Parallels ? I have recording software in a windows XP guest.... but no matter what I do, I am always recording from the MacBook Pro microphone.

Maybe they meant business hours..... but either way, give them some patience.... if any of you are SAs or developers you understand the 'rock and a hard place' of people pushing you for a resolution you don't know anything about yet...... I can remember the days of having a production...

Yes, I noticed the same thing.... it does not appear that the Image Tool is actually changing the partition map.... so the additional space is not really extending the primary partition as is actually needed..... Luckily I have Partition Magic and was able to change the size of the partition...

Just a thought / note / warning...... re: the statement of "Any virus that affects your Windows VM should not harm the underlying host OSX installation." under most circumstances this is probably safe to say.... BUT..... if you have your OS X folders shared or available to the Windows VM...

Never had this problem.... but I think..... I think that if you go to Finder and under the Window menu is "Bring All To Front"..... I have never actually used it, but I think I remember seeing it as an answer to this problem in the past.

Love the Mac, but must put up with Windows I work for a large computer company (won't say anymore) that has, as most businesses, relied heavily on the windows platform.... I can not avoid it.... I work from home so I am forced to use their VPN Client (Windows only) - they have/had a Mac VPN...

Airport working on XP Pro w/SP2 Bridging is working (limited) with my Airport connection also.... The (limited) part is that I can not access my Host machine from the VM as well as the other way around.... I read in one of the threads that this is a known bug in the beta..... BTW...

Similar thing just happened to me..... Just like above, things were going real well.... I had MS Autoupdate set to auto download.... the first time I shutdown, it installed 2 updates... most likely updates to the auto-update feature.... hours later I booted up XP again.... everything was going...
