It's two virtual drives. I basically keep one Virtual Drive with the OS and one with my Data on it. I could probably re-create it if I went back to multiple drives.

Not sure since I always have 2 HD's connected. My setup keeps my data on a D: drive so it can be connected to multiple VM's. I suppose I could migrate the data to the C: Drive to test out. Is this a likely cause? Is this an unusual use case? Any diagnostics I can do?

OK, it looks like Parallels replaces the HAL and it doesn't support the macbook keyboards but there is a work around until they fix it. First I set my boot.ini to have a 10 second time out. After the timeout it selects the Bootcamp HAL. Second, I had it select Profile1 after a second...

Same prob here. Bootcamp works great in parallels but I can't get back in when I boot. Keyboard doesn't appear to work. I might try setting timeouts for a default boot until it gets working.

You can always right click on the taskbar and select Task Manager.

I am also using parallels for semi production work. The key is to make sure that the actual work isn't only on the parallels machine. For me, all my work sits in a VSS Database on another machine. That way when I am connected I can check in with no worries about whats on the guest os. If...

Thanks, any performance enhancement that can be done for Video would be great. I don't expect full accellerated speed but something closer to what I get in VPC seems doable. BTW- I do have VT-x enabled and working. CPU performance is great.

I played around with this for a bit as well. It seemed to me that it would not install if I had a CD in the drive. Once I removed the CD and rebooted the Guest OS, it installed.

Has anyone tried this. Also, can you pass on a binary version. I program on a PC but I am a MacOS newbie so I am not quite up on compiling etc.

mattham, my experience is much like yours. I have seen VT both on and off. One time was after a hard crash. Since then, it now only wants to do Software Mode 2....whatever that is.
