bar code

The current "Barcode reader" reads barcodes only via camera or via an selected image. But a "code" in a selected area of the screen is not possible. An example to illustrate how 1password does it.

The barcode and QR code generator is a handy feature that was added in November. However, it would be so much more useful if the export resolution could be configured - high quality export for embedding in files - PDF or other file formats

The QR/Barcode scanner only uses the inbuilt camera. It would be nice to be able to select which camera to use so that an external camera could be used. That would mean instead of waving objects in front of the laptop I could wave the external camera over the object.

Drop an image in, and have the tool translate it to text.
