I'm using Virtual PC 7 with my iMac G5 and my Dazzle Card Reader can be accessed from the Windows side. I would like to purchase the new 24" Intel mac. However, I need confirmation that the Dazzle Card Reader will be accessible from Windows with the Parallels software.

Also, can you drag and drop from the mac desktop to the windows desktop using Parallels?

Not directly from the Mac desktop to the Windows desktop inside the Parallels VM window, but you can do so indirectly. You can have your OS X home directory available inside Parallels as a Parallels Shared Folder (other means also exist). From there you can open the OS X Desktop folder and drag the file you want onto the Windows desktop.
