I just migrated from a host iMac running High Sierra to a new i9 iMac running Catalina. I brought over my 10.8 VM and on the new iMac (running Catalina) and Parallels 15 it is DOG slow. Is this normal? The VM has 4 GB ram, and 8 cores.

  2. Hi, does your whole VM work slow? Or something wrong with any specific app?

Hi! It's the whole VM. Boot time, cursor movement, window dragging, opening an App, etc.

I migrated a Mac 10.12 VM and created a new Catalina VM from the host and both perform as expected.

I setup 3 Debian variant VMs and they run great.
