Hi,
using Win98SE as guest, I've installed the latest build(2092) of Parallels Tools inside the guest. The installation was fine and I rebooted.
Right after the reboot I got a message about a missing PCI Bridge driver (as reported by someone else here in this forum). OK that's not a problem, you can click it right away.
However I noticed sthg strange at this point and some minutes again (and again...).
After switching to the host OS (Windows XP btw), I suddendly got a message from Parallels, I should installed Parallels Tools. Eh? I did this right before! OK, of course I did not repeat the installation, but guess what? Some minutes later the reminder dialog appeared again!
What's wrong with my Parallels Workstation?
Sorry, but Parallels isn't complaining about a missing Parallels Tools installation but of an inconsistent installation of Parallels Tools, see image
