    Hi!
I think about buying Parallels for Mac. Right now I use VirtualBox.
I develop a webapplication as my final exam for a professor. He will use Win7, that's why I have a virtual machine, where apachefriends' Xampp is installed (Apache Webserver, MySQL 5.6, PHP 5.6 with Phalcon-Extension, FTP-Server) and the old windows application with the original data.
But when the VM is up and running my Macbook Air (Mid 2013) is hotting up on the left upper corner (where the MacSafe2-Adapter sits). So I guess, VirtualBox is not very good optimized for Win7 and El Capitan. That's why I consider to buy Parallels. But I didn't find the answer to my question:

Can I install apachefriends' Xampp into a VM of Parallels and how do I start it?

    Thanks very much
    Aljoscha
